My understanding is that MO1 is furious that he was found guilty. Tu jer.
Today, MO1 lodged an appeal against his conviction and sentencing over one count of abuse of power, three counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT), and three counts of money laundering, in which he was found guilty of all seven charges and given a 12 year jail term and fined RM210 million.
On 28 July, after the verdict, MO1 should have been driven in his motorcade, escorted by his policeoutriders and protection squad to the Bamboo River Resort.
For those who are not aware, the Bamboo River Resort, has free accommodation, en-suite bathroom facilities, free food, ample rest and recreation facilities, a garden to rest his wounded eyes (remember how his eyes were always sakit during his trial and he had to ponteng) and 24 hour bodyguards (they do not come cheap these days) to protect him.
Instead of the resort welcoming him, we had to suffer his boasts that he is innocent, are forced to endure his long speeches in parliament and laugh that he had been made the chairman of the BN BackBenchers (BNBBC)
It just shows that despite the rich and powerful people and selebs in BNBBC, money cannot buy commonsense and principles.
So today, MO1 lodged a petition with 307 reasons why Kuala Lumpur High Court judge, Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali had erred.
These are excerpts from Malaysiakini. (With a subcription, you can read the full report, but I will only give you a summary of MO1’s tirade.)
In a copy of the petition of appeal, MO1 alleged that the trial was not fair “due to errors committed by Nazlan as a judge and the alleged acts of the prosecution, among others.”
The bottom line is that MO1 marah to be found guilty.
