Online Petition for a 2-week Parliament sitting…Please support by signing the petition, to put more pressure on the backdoor government.

Calling all Malaysians to demand that Muhyiddin Yassin gets Parliament to sit for two (2) weeks from 18 May, and not just for one (1) day!

Online Petition for a 2-week Parliament sitting

Friends, Aliran has launched an Online Petition to put pressure on the government to have a 2-week parliament sitting. This is in keeping with the democratic ideals.

A one-day sitting will be a meaningless exercise which mocks our parliamentary practice.

Let’s put our shoulders together to make this effort a great success.

Please circulate and encourage all your friends and relatives to sign this petition. Numbers are important and they will make the difference!

Let’s rescue our parliament from the clutches of the backdoor government.

Together we will succeed.

Thank you very much.

With very warm regards,

25 April 2020

  • Su Bee Hong says:

For the future of Malaysia, Parliament sitting is very important for the building of the country after Civid19.

  • Edward says:

    Parliment sitting for 2 weeks

  • isaloo says:

    The easing of MCO
    To please the business community
    Facing the onslaught of recession
    Some even have closed shops

The Covid 19 hasn’t gone away
It has mutated into many types
We mustn’t be fooled into believing
We will get the backlash for it

Though the daily count has dropped
It doesn’t point the virus has gone away
It only says certain measures have worked
    Containing the spread of C19

    Now the easing of MCO
The Parliament sitting should be extended
It shouldn’t sit for a day on May 18
Because the coup leaders are afraid to lose

Go for the full Parliament sitting
The nation needs to find how the funding come along
What methods are used; what resources are tapped in?
Who are the contractors? Where is the accountability?

But with the back door leaders
They will walk pretending nothing wrong
They will try to avoid the full sitting of Parliament
They are afraid to lose their power
