About Rebuilding Msia

A newspaper with independent news and views.

Rebuilding Malaysia has an uncompromising stance on national controversies and public interest stories. If you think you may get upset because the truth hurts, then please turn away now.

For decades, our politicians and ministers have constantly let the rakyat downi.

What we read in the papers (both mainstream and online) can be depressing. Most cover the same issues which are inextricably linked to one another, like the 4 Rs – race, religion, royalty and rasuah (corruption). The 4Rs are often used to silence us and manipulate our behaviour.

Where possible, a humorous take on things will be made, to make you smile a little, in this challenging phase, which Malaysia is going through.

Rebuilding Malaysia (YouTube channels, blog, website and social media) aims to highlight certain news, to educate, entertain, inform, provide commentary and provide us with a safe avenue for intelligent discourse.

Please respect our freedom of expression.

A reminder when leaving feedback. Please respect other peoples’ views and refrain from insulting or making lewd comments.

We encourage people to contribute to the discussion and we do so as honest, law-abiding, responsible citizens who have a right to an opinion, made in good faith, on the issues discussed.

  • i) The use of draconian laws is meant to silence the rakyat and manipulate our behaviour. Our aim using YouTube videos, blogs, websites or social media platforms is not to insult, threaten, misinform, provide fake news, disrespect, or tarnish anybody’s (or any organisation’s) reputation. Fair dealing is work for the purpose of criticism or review. Malaysians are keen and desperate to speak up about things that matter to them, and which will affect their lives and the futures of their children and grandchildren
