Mariam Mokhtar,
do you not know that one of the women who championed the conference you were referring to, is the wife of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik?
Mariam Mokhtar,
Do you not know that the wife of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik, is a lecturer, and goes to work every single day?
Mariam Mokhtar,
Do you not know that the wife of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik,is not just a lecturer, but is the head of Jabatan Usuluddin at KUIS?
Mariam Mokhtar,
Do you not know that the wife of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik has a PhD?
Mariam Mokhtar,
Do you not know, that Ustaz Abdullah Zaik never stops his wife from going to work and contribute to the society every single day?
Mariam Mokhtat,
Do you not know that despite all her duties and responsibilities to the society, the wife of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik never fails to take care of her family consisting of the husband and 9 children?
Mariam Mokhtar,
Do you not know that the daughter-in-law of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik is also a working mother?
Mariam Mokhtar,
Do you not know that the daughter of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik is studying engineering overseas?
Mariam Mokhtar,
Do you know how to read/listen and digest information? Because I seriously cannot understand where your accusation of Ustaz Abdullah Zaik claiming that he wants women “tied up to the kitchen sink and not allowed to socialize?” is coming from.
Mariam Mokhtar,
assuming that you really don’t know, (or you really do know but cannot accept the fact), many women in ISMA are also strong, intelligent, financially-independent, Malay Muslim working women who rejects the idea of feminism and agrees fully that women should never neglect the family, despite having a career.
Mariam Mokhtar,
(again) assuming that you have some vocabulary issues, you may want to check the meaning of ‘priority’.
Mariam Mokhtar,
Prioritising your family does not mean you are not allowed to leave the house to go to work. Prioritising your family does not mean when you go to work you are not allowed to do a good job and be excellent at what you are doing.
Mariam Mokhtar,
stop being selective in talking about feminism. Apparently “feminism” that you are so proud off is not about helping single mothers to get a decent job and a decent pay. The feminism ideology thats ruining our society are changing the mindset of women that they are only worth it if they are out there in the world working. That a women should go out there, dress in any sexy way they choose and be proud of it. That a women should never be told or expected to prioritize the family. That a muslim women should never be told to cover their aurah. And many other unacceptable values.
Mariam Mokhtar,
do you not know that ISMA has a Biro Keluarga dan Masyarakat? And in it, guidelines are given to BOTH men and women on their roles and responsibilities in the household? That men in ISMA are told to follow the teachings of Rasulullah, and Rasulullah always help around with household chores?
Mariam Mokhtar,
do you not know that ISMA has a Biro PEMUDA? Focusing on empowering young men to excel in life, to lead the society, to care and respect women in line with the teachings of Islam.
Mariam Mokhtar,
next time before you start writing, please do your homework. Failing to do so, like in this article of yours, really shows how a shallow-minded, emotionally unstable columnist you are.

NB: I think that Isma, like Jakim should be disbanded.
Guess what! Isma is funded by the Malaysian government. Yup. Our tax money is used to fund this pathetic, extremist outfit.
